In Honor. In Strength. In the Fight for Every Sickle Cell Warrior.
Supporting warriors. Serving families. Spreading hope.
Our Vision

We envision a world where individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease and other rare conditions are met with compassion instead of judgment, supported instead of overlooked, and empowered instead of silenced. At JerMar Warriors Sickle Cell Alliance, Inc., we strive to build a future where no warrior feels alone in their fight, and every family has access to early testing, trusted resources, quality care, and a strong community of advocates.
We aim to break generational cycles of silence, health disparities, and misinformation by standing in the gap through education, outreach, and service. As we grow, our vision is to become a leading voice for underserved communities—pioneering innovative health initiatives, amplifying lived experiences, and driving meaningful change in policy, research, and public awareness.
JerMar Warriors Sickle Cell Alliance, Inc. was created to honor the memory of Jermaine Knowles and stand beside his sister, Marissa Knowles, as she continues to thrive while living with Sickle Cell Disease. Their shared journey inspires our mission to advocate for those affected by Sickle Cell and to extend education, testing, and support to individuals and families impacted by rare diseases—empowering warriors, uplifting families, and advancing care and awareness.
We are dedicated to eliminating the stigma surrounding chronic and rare conditions by fostering understanding, compassion, and connection within our communities. Through outreach, partnerships, and purpose-driven initiatives, we seek to be a trusted voice and resource—committed to bridging the gap between awareness and access, and helping every warrior feel seen, supported, and strengthened.
Mission

A moment of joy between siblings whose bond was stronger than the disease they both carried. Though Jermaine Knowles transitioned on July 21, 2022, his love, laughter, and legacy continue to fuel the mission of JerMar Warriors. His smile lives on through Marissa and every warrior we serve.
